Forte Privacy Policy

Overview
Forte helps you track and improve your habits. We collect the information needed to operate the app and understand how to improve it. We do not sell your data or track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name and email, provided when you sign in with Google or Apple.
- Habits and records: habits you create, daily scores, notes, and thoughts you write.
- Conversations with Forte: the messages you send to the assistant and its replies.
- App usage: product events, such as screen views and actions, for internal analytics.
- Technical information needed to operate the service, such as sanitized error logs.
How we use your information
- Operating the app: saving and displaying your habits, scores, and progress.
- The Forte assistant: generating replies and recording habits at your request.
- Improving the product: aggregate usage and retention analytics.
- Support and security: diagnosing errors and protecting accounts.
Service providers
We share information with providers that help operate Forte, only for those purposes:
- Google and Apple: sign-in.
- Vercel: application hosting.
- Neon: the database storing your habits and records.
- PostHog: product analytics.
- OpenAI: processes messages you send to the Forte assistant to generate replies.
Your choices and control
- You can edit or delete your habits and records in the app.
- You can sign out at any time.
- You can delete your account and associated data from Profile → Delete my account, or contact us for help (see Contact).
Retention and security
We retain your data while your account is active. Communication with the server uses HTTPS. We do not store passwords; Google or Apple handles sign-in.
Children
Forte is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
